Abbey Hamstra is a Partner and Head of Investor Relations and Operations at CoinFund, a blockchain-native investment firm founded in 2015, where she works closely with prospective and current investors to give them a deeper understanding of CoinFund's investment strategy, portfolio, and the broader blockchain investing landscape. She joined CoinFund in 2021 as an associate on the Investor Relations team and has since grown into a leadership role overseeing both Investor Relations and Operations for the firm.
Before joining CoinFund, Abbey spent nearly four years at Man Group's Man FRM, the firm's hedge fund allocation engine, where she worked as a portfolio analyst and client services specialist, partnering with institutional clients to build out their hedge fund portfolios. Prior to that, she started her career as an analyst at JPMorgan
Abbey holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, with a concentration in finance and a minor in Innovation, Economics, and Entrepreneurship.
